Let’s put our hands together for our Athlete of the Month Haley!! We couldn’t be more excited to give the title this month to this amazing athlete!!! Haley is defines dedication (I don't feel like there is a day I don't see her at The Vault)! She has impeccable form (those elbows though!), is consistent, and throws weight around like no ones business! Next time you spot Haley at a workout (usually a noon'er!)- be sure to congratulate her and give her a high five.

Monday, May 27th- Heats running at the start of all regularly scheduled classes.
Normal class cost/punch/sign-in for current clients, $15 donation drop-in for anyone else. All proceeds will go to the Wounded Warrior Project so bring cash or check. We will have a limited amount of special MURPH T-shirt’s ($28) and Tank-tops ($25) for sale too!
While Memorial Weekend is the kickoff to Summer, The Vault wants to have a little fun while also remembering the real meaning of Memorial Day: honoring our fallen heroes. One of the most well-known HERO workouts is MURPH, in remembrance of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy of Patchogue, NY, who was killed in Afghanistan on June 28th, 2005. And on Saturday, May 26th The Vault will be hosting a community event as a way to honor those who gave their lives in service of their country.
Jess will be there most of the day so bring your youth athlete!! Ages 8 and up can complete! Do the MURPH with your kiddo, siblings that want to run it together, or your kiddo can conquer it alone!
The workout is as follows:
1 Mile Run
100 Pull Ups
200 Push Ups
300 Air Squats
1 Mile run
Yes, this is a beast of a workout but we have come up with a variety of ways to tackle this in hopes of everyone being able to participate:
1: Full Murph: Complete the entire workout by yourself.
2: Team Murph - Split the work with a buddy or your kiddo! Each of you will complete 1/2 of the workout as a team.
3: Half Murph - Split the work in half
4: Scaled Murph - Our coaching staff will be available to provide options for each movement in order to make this workout possible for you.s
Beginner Weightlifting Class!!
Monday's and Wednesday's 1-2pm starting 6/3
Donnis is excited to offer a beginner weightlifting class! Classes will focus on weightlifting movements and strength training for all ages and abilities. Leave your fears at the door and come into a supportive and encouraging environment! NO CARDIO OR BODY WEIGHT in this class! Strictly barbell and dumbbell movements and workouts! A great supplement or intro to our Vault Classes and/or Simply Strength class!
Without strength training, at age 35 we begin to experience a 3 to 8 percent loss of muscle mass per decade. Strength training increases resting metabolism by about 7 percent, helps minimize muscle loss, and helps increase bone density! As we age, this becomes MORE AND MORE IMPORTANT!

SIMPLY STRENGTH!!! Our No Bar Class! Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 1:00pm starting June 4th!
The Vault (and coach TJ) is excited to bring you our No Bar Class, Simply Strength! It is a kick butt Vault workout, just with No Bars. We will be focusing on bodyweight, endurance, core, agility, calisthenics & more! This is perfect for the beginner Vault'er (that may be intimidated by the bar), the Vault'er coming back from the pesky ski injury, or those just wanting to get their butts kicked without weights!
VAULT YOUTH Summer Session
Jessika is starting up her Youth Vault class again! Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:13pm - 4:15pm, Tuesday, June 4th- Thursday, August 15th
A class designed to increase endurance, core strength, flexibility, agility & more in youth ages 8-14.Cost is $90 for an 10 punch pass or $12/drop-in.

The first Sunday of each month is Vault Endurance- a 90-minute endurance class! 9am-10:30am. Come for 90 minutes of Vault Endurance fun!!! Expect lots of sweat and lots of fun!!!
